Brian R. Smith
Fazal Khan is a retired engineer with forty plus years of experience primarily in the US Defense Industry. He holds degrees in Physics, Mathematics and Mechanical Engineering. He has been a private pilot for over thirty-five years with approximately 1400 hours in General Aviation airplanes. He holds a Commercial Certificates with Instrument Rating in both Single and Multi-engine land airplanes. He is passionate about teaching young kids about aviation to middle school students in the Detroit Public School System. He is also an instructor at the free Aviation Ground School conducted by the TANHM. He is also a regular participant in the EAA sponsored Young Eagles program, which introduces young kids to aviation by providing them with their first airplane ride.
